GTSC welcome a new Commodore

Mark Hayzelden hands the GTSC keys to Don Francis, who we welcome as our new Commodore

A big thank you to Mark for managing the clubhouse refurbishment and ensuring the club's continued success throughout the extremely wet winter, spring, and summer of 2024. Mark will stay on the committee to assist with any transitions and continue supporting the club in the future.

Don has been a committee member for several years and has become more engaged in youth sailing, successfully overseeing several youth events this year, including the Thames Challenge, where our youths secured first place, and the NSSA Regatta, which saw more than 14 sailors from Oxfordshire participate in the five-day event. Collaborating closely with committee members, volunteers, and the membership, we fully endorse Don's nomination.
