We are looking for a volunteer to pick up a new role at the Sailing Club - Welfare Officer.
Previously this role was being done by our Training Principal but it is a role in itself, which is why we are keen for someone to take this on.

WELFARE OFFICER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Review the club policy to make sure it is current and in line with RYA guidance.
Review information from RYA for updates and recommendations.
Be the point of contact between members and RYA for any reports or concerns of a child safety or welfare nature ( there have been no issues for last 10 years!).
Complete DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check documents and submit to RYA if needed. One or two for those attending NSSA each year and they last 3 years.
